Entry level job for detail oriented individuals with excellent dexterity for meticulous assembly work.

M-Th-7:00 am to 4:15 pm, F-7:00 am to 12:00 pm

Mechanical Assembler

Hiring immediately for 1st shift.
Entry Level job for mechanical assembler for chart recorder devices.

Ability to use small tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, etc. Successful candidate will work with other assembly technicians and engineers to manufacture, calibrate and continuously improve the production of circular chart recorder equipment. This is an entry level position with room for advancement. Our customers rely on our superior products, so a commitment to quality and customer service is required. Perform other work-related duties as required.

Position requires good hand/eye coordination.
Light assembly experience is a plus but not required.
Experience in a product testing environment is desired but NOT required. Will train the right individual.

CAD Drafter

Job Description

Use CAD equipment to provide support to Engineers by preparing routine layouts, detailed drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, and diagrams, to include all views and dimensions necessary for manufacture.
Revise and update existing drawings, reflecting design changes.
Prepare clear, complete and accurate working plans and detailed dimensional drawings, installation drawings, and more complex drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for engineering or manufacturing purposes.
Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation.
Work on guidelines for installation drawings which meet and exceed customer requirements (bid and submittal phase). Implement these requirements on drawings sent to customer.
Establish filing guidelines to maintain up-to-date drawings.
Make simple decisions, but refer most questions/problems to Engineers or Supervisor.
Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.
Work as a member of a design team, cooperating with management in an effective manner to perform engineering work of a high quality, with no errors.
Perform other work-related duties as required.

Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
Education: AA or equivalent experience in Engineering, Drafting, Design, Graphic Arts, or related field, or;
Completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting, or related field, or;
3 years plus drafting experience.
Knowledge of standard drafting practices and procedures.
Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, listening, written, and verbal.
Strong mathematical skills, and detail oriented.
Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.
Must be able to read blueprints, and follow printed diagrams.
Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office.
Able to work with minimal supervision, and efficiently schedule and manage time.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

8:00 am to 5:00 pm
