Training location: On site location within the continental USA. We come to you to train your team.

Topics Covered: Fundamentals of Thermal Imaging, Using your Wahl Heat Spy Thermal Imaging Camera and utilizing the reporting and analysis Software.

Why Attend this Course:In order to fully utilize your Wahl Heat Spy Thermal Imaging camera it is recommended that you attend this course. You will first learn the basics of what infrared is and is not.  You will learn what convection, conduction and radiation are and how they are different. Emissivity (ε) - will be reviewed and we discuss the factors that affect it, and other infrared theories will be introduced.  You will also learn the specifics of the camera that you own and operate.  This is invaluable information to ensure that you understand your camera and exactly how to maximize its abilities.  In addition, applications that are specific to your industry will be presented during the training.  Lastly, you will practice taking thermal pictures and downloading them into the proprietary software.  Then you will learn and practice how to use the software to analyze the picture and to use the picture as part of a report that can be filed and/or given to a customer for their review.

Class Dates: As mutually agreed to. 

Time of the Course: Up to 8 hours one day during the work week.

What to Bring to the Course: It is recommended that you have a  Wahl thermal imaging camera at the training.  It is also recommended that you have a laptop computer so that you can utilize the camera’s software on your laptop.

Course Overview: The following is the time spent on each section of the training.  This may vary based on the needs of the attendees.

• Principals of Infrared – 2hrs.
• How to use your Wahl Thermal Imaging Camera – 2hrs.
• Applications utilizing the Wahl Heat Spy Thermal Imaging Camera – 2hrs.
• Practicing with the cameras software – Analysis of the pictures and Report Writing – 2hrs.

Course Cost:  $2,995 for up to 10 students taking the course. Added charge for additional students. Plus all travel expenses.

Certificate of Completion: Upon completion of the one-day Palmer Wahl Course each attendee will receive a Certificate showing that they have completed this course and can operate the Wahl Heat Spy camera that was used during the course.
