T150 High Precision Temperature Field Calibrator for TC, RTD & Thermistors

Description

The Wahl T150 is a highly accurate temperature solution for thermocouples, RTDs, and thermistor thermometers.  The T150 has two channels, configurable for IN / IN or IN / OUT arrangements to allow for comparison of calibrations and differential temperature measurement.  Use the OUT channel to simulate temperature or control temperature recorders, indicators, hand held thermometers and more. Integrated process functions make it the perfect device for maintenance, quality control, and temperature sensor calibration.

  • Thermocouple accuracy: Up to 0.005% of reading
  • RTDs: Up to 0.006% of reading
  • Thermistors: Up to 0.006% of reading

See full list of accuracies on the spec sheet.

Wide, high contrast backlit display is excellent for use in low ambient light conditions. Connect with Bluetooth enabled sensors using onboard functionality.  Bluetooth is compatible with 50K Ohm range, Steinhart-HART equation, can drive dry blocks, furnaces, and calibration baths with 4 - 20 mA signal.  Includes Bluetooth transmitter function and switch test. Stores up to 10,000 values.

Advanced data manipulation includes scaling, relative measurements, simulation of ramps and steps, synthesizer, square root, and statistical functions.

The unit is rated IP54 and protected by an anti-shock boot.  Polycarbonate keypad protects the unit from dirt and grease, and the raised keys allow the T150 to be easily used while wearing gloves. Ten user programmable configurations are available for use with repetitive jobs.

Unique quick connect system is easy to use; simply press down on the top of the terminal and insert bare wires (up to 3 millimeters or 10 AWG) or compensated thermocouple connectors.  When releasing the terminal, wires are held tightly between two brass plates for thermal stability, creating excellent cold junction compensation for thermocouples.  This systems also allows for the use of 4 millimeter banana plugs or safety plugs to be connected to the front panel.

The T150 is capable of simultaneously measuring and generating temperatures with the following types of sensors:

  • Thermocouples
  • Resistance probes: platinum, nickel, and copper
  • Thermistors

Calibration of sensor and measurement chains (sensor + thermometer):

  • The calibration coefficients (correction) are accounted for during the measurement.
  • Calibration by comparison: using two probes (and temperature generator driven) or by using a signal generator. Choose from between two available methods: manual or automatic with - in both cases - the calibration set points are entered by the user.
  • Drive dry blocks and baths.

The dual display simultaneously shows measurement value, emitted value, gauges, and used functions. The date, time, and external temperature are also indicated. During measurement the average, maximum, and minimum of measured values are always available.

Selectable resolution allows the user to adjust in order to meet specific testing requirements. Use with optional DATACAL software.

Compatibility with 21 CFR part 11 standard: passwords, login, and audit trail.
