Description

Digi-Stem Meters and Probes are sold separately to make a completely customizable system. The DSX500 series versions of our popular Wahl Digi-Stem® Digital Thermometers feature 4-20 mA transmitter output with RTD sensor probes.  Our RTD models have a wide temperature range and high accuracy design for applications that require accurate and reliable temperature monitoring.

Our Digi-Stems® are known for their reliability and rugged cases.  The housing is stainless steel with a NEMA-4X rating.  Dimensions are 5.3 inches wide x 4.3 inches high x 2.7 inches deep (13.5cm wide x 10.9 high x 6.9 cm deep).  The large 1 inch high LCD display is readable from 30 feet away.

The DSX500 4-20 mA transmitter is factory configurable to your specification, or user configurable with the optional DSTCAL software kit.

Choose from rigid, remote, or adjustable angle RTD probes built to order to customer specification and sold separately.  The DSX500 Series features programmable “R0” for “matching” the sensor to meter.

Polycarbonate H frame is standard; choose optional stainless steel for additional protection against RF interference and moisture intrusion.

DSX500 series models are powered by 10-36 VDC loop power.  Input power and transmitter output for the DSX500 is via 1/2 inch NPT female conduit port on side of case, and via waterproof 4-pin Turck® connector in side mount conduit connector on the DSX501.

Specify temperature set points and burnout setting (high or low) when ordering.

The DSX500 is USDA Accepted Equipment for NSF/ANSI/3-A-14159-1-2019 (Hygiene Requirements for the Design of Meat and Poultry Processing Equipment.
