Description
Dipstick Meters are designed for use with ferrous and non-ferrous molten metals such as iron, steel, gold, brass, bronze, and aluminum as well as enclosures like furnaces, stacks, and ovens. Thermocouple Type S and Type K models are available depending on the material being measured and the maximum temperatures measured. Choose between Fahrenheit and Celsius models.
Choose the lance length and bend in the tip that is most comfortable for your dip measurements. Stable temperature readings are reached in 6 to 8 seconds. System Accuracy is the greater of ±0.3°F or ±0.5% reading; at molten metal temperatures typically ±11°F.
TC840 Series dipsticks come with one expendable RTC832 tip. Spare tips are sold separately.
