Palmer Wahl offers an assortment of handheld probes to fit Thermocouple and RTD handheld meters. Our Heat Prober Hand Held RTD probes have different connectors to fit our Heat Prober meters.
Thermocouple Probes have the ANSI Mini-Connector for the appropriate thermocouple type of the probe.
RTD probes are available with four different connectors:
- 4 Pin Female DIN connector, to work with our 392HP and 392AHP model Heat Probers.
- 3-conductor, .176 inch “bantam” phone plug made of copper alloy, to fit our 392 and 392A Heat Probers
- M8 x 1, 4-Pin Connector Mating Connector (Female): Turck #B5141-0, to fit TC622, TM612, and TM630
- LEMO 4-Pin Connector Mating Connector (Male):#FGG.0B.304.CLAD42, to fit TC622A, TM612A, and TM630A

It's easy to tell which connector is included on a Palmer Wahl Heat Prober probe:
- Probes with a part number ending in "HP" have a 4 Pin Female DIN connector and work with "HP" model Heat Prober meters.
- Probes with no suffix have a 3-conductor, .176 inch “bantam” phone plug made of copper alloy and fit our 392 and 392A Heat Probers.
- Probes with a part number ending in "TM" have a M8 x 1, 4-Pin Connector Mating Connector (Female): Turck #B5141-0 and fit TC622, TM612, and TM630.
- Probes with a part number ending in "TMA" have a LEMO 4-Pin Connector Mating Connector (Male):#FGG.0B.304.CLAD42 and fit TC622A, TM612A, and TM630A.
